cockpit. the two ovals coming in from left and right will
be the thigh braces in the completed kayak.
Over 100 pieces of cedar will be cut and placed to create
the vertical wall of the cockpit rim.
These will be fiberglassed inside and out to create a
strong and rigid supporting structure that can take the
day-to-day loading and hoisting that your schedule will
allow.
