You can see now how the curves have been filled in with
western red cedar.
The white cedar triangle just left of center is the foredeck
of the cockpit area. This foredeck is functional as well as
artistic, as it allows me to build a cockpit with less
upturn at the front. This allows a much more secure
attachment of the sprayskirt to the rim.
