Repair of wood, fiberglass and composite hulls
We have experience with wood core, foam core and
honeycomb core materials and can repair both fiberglass
and carbon fiber skins.
Many of us have said, "A bad
day on the river is better than
a good day at the office.".

But for most of us, having a
bad day does not include
turning a 26 foot honeycomb
core rowing scull into a 22 foot
submarine.

This will be a very tricky repair.
Repairing the honeycomb and
skin such that it looks like new
will be the easy part. The hard
part is doing so while keeping
the boat true in all directions
along it's length, making the
repaired area strong and
keeping the weight to a
minimum.
Image on right shows hull
being sanded down and
after covering with a
protective layer of fiberglass.
The new fiberglass will
effectively seal the hull while
providing an extra layer of
protection. Remainder of
hull will be sanded down to
show mahagony planking as
well.
